Complete transaction history is required

The accuracy of the tax report directly depends on the completeness of your transaction data. If transactions are missing, it may happen that Coinfox does not know the cost basis for certain positions. In practice, you will see warnings like "Missing cost basis". This means that the original purchase for a sale was not found. To fix this, make sure that all purchases/transfers that preceded this sale are recorded in Coinfox. Often, it is sufficient to add a missing transfer or purchase, and the notification will disappear.
